If you decide to use my service I will arrange to visit the property on a date and time that is suitable for you. On average, a domestic property EPC survey will take approx 30 to 40 minutes. I will produce your EPC and email you a link which will take you directly to your certificate on the official EPC register. You will be able to forward the link to your solicitor or agent and you will be able to download or print a copy of the certificate yourself. Your Energy Performance Certificate will be valid for a period of 10 years from the date of issue.

Why You Need an EPC

An Energy Performance Certificate, commonly refered to as an EPC, is a document which is required when a property is to be sold or rented out. If you are renting out or selling a property you should order your EPC for potential buyers or tenants before you market the property. You cannot legally let or sell a property without a valid Energy Performance Certificate being on the EPC Register.

This is more important than ever following the rapid rise in gas and electricity prices. On the 1st April 2022, OFGEM raised the energy price cap by 54% and further price increases are expected.
